One of my proudest achievements is helping to develop, launch and bring to life Wild Spaces. At DIVE, in collaboration with Pearl & Dean and National Parks, we designed a new type of cinema advertising that helps the climate crisis. Wild Spaces funds nature restoration projects in our UK National Parks. Projects that revive nature, boost biodiversity, and improve access.
Wild Spaces is funded by brand advertisers who chose to pay a premium. As well as a funding tool, the project uses cinema to emotively and effectively tell good news stories, via episodes of Wild Spaces shown onscreen nationwide. Each Wild Spaces episode is a documentary-style short film, bringing a nature project to life, celebrating a National Park, and highlighting the brands that fund it.
The project is an industry and media first, enabling film-lovers to support nature simply by visiting a Pearl & Dean cinema.
