Kia x Curzon: Journeys That Inspire

Kia partnered with the most iconic name in independent cinema – Curzon. Journeys That Inspire was an eight month headline partnership campaign live across the Curzon estate, including association with Curzon’s 90th anniversary celebrations, Curzon Home Cinema, experiential live events, bespoke creative & content, social, digital and cinema advertising.

Curzon is a much loved, iconic UK film and cinema brand with a history stretching back to 1934. Balancing heritage with consistent innovation, they have a nationwide network of 16 cinemas, a multi-award winning film distribution label Curzon Film, a virtual cinema platform Curzon Home Cinema and a film development and production arm. In 2017, Curzon received a BAFTA in recognition of its Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema.

The task was to engage Kia’s target audience with their electric offering and enhance brand perception by authentically connecting the brand to independent cinema. The role was end-to-end, from pitch to execution. Research showed that exposure to the Curzon campaign significantly increased core brand metrics for Kia, including awareness, positive associations, and word-of-mouth. The project over-delivered on value for Kia by 32%.
