An unforgettable experiential Premiere event in Shoreditch, London to launch the highly-anticipated film Queen & Slim for Entertainment One in the UK. The event included a red carpet for media and talent, including stars of the film Daniel Kaluuya, Jodie Turner-Smith and director Melina Matsoukas, and was signposted by a giant hand-painted outdoor mural inspired by the film. 

All three screens of the Rich Mix cinema showed the film, followed by a New Orleans inspired after-party at Shoreditch Studios. The party was brought to life with a live performance from soundtrack artist, Tiana Major9, plus lush greenery, bespoke flower installations, commissioned artwork, DJs, cocktails and a special Creole menu. Partners included Brixton Brewery, Tony’s Chocaloney, Wray & Nephew, Stryk and Karma Drinks. DJs on the night were from CaptialXtra.

The event resulted in high press and social engagement leading to a strong opening weekend for the film’s release.
